This beauty is a design by Sue Spargo called Magnolia, beautifully made by Maryanne.
It is made using a combination of wools, velvet and cotton fabrics, embellished with intricate stiching and beads.
I quilted it freehand using a ruler for the outside border, and freehanded the fills and wiggly lines.
I am currently making the 2012 BOM with Sue Spargo, so this has inspired me to get a wriggle on with mine....maybe it might be something I get finished this year!!
